Rain Shower

When I did this painting, it started with that tingle you get when you wake up from a good dream. I love Elves, and I love playing with Light. I also wanted to depict a male...strong, physical yet exceptionally sensual. I went with an Elf with really long ears. Normally I really don't like that but some how it works really well in this piece. I actually prefer the small delicate ears like in Lord of the Rings. It is one of my most realistic paintings and I am really looking forward to getting it printed and hanging it in my bedroom*grins*
